Outdoor electronic gaming from Playworld

Saltex this year will see the debut of Neos, a new concept from Playworld Systems designed to take electronic game play outdoors.

Neos comprises four columns with interactive sounds and light buttons and with an electronic scoreboard in the centre.

The buttons light up in random sequence depending on which game has been selected and players have to be first to extinguish a light.

With nine different games and three skill levels to choose from, one or more players can have their scores recorded, the aim being - says Playworld - to make Neos competitive and challenging whilst at the same time improving agility, balance, fitness and social skills.

Although Neos is designed for games of one or two players, teams of four or eight players with varying abilities can be formed. In addition, its size and design allow for creativity in how the games are played.

The system can be operated either from a low voltage power supply or a post-mounted solar panel.
